The Boundary Playbook · v1.2.0

Every role has a line. Here is yours, and what to say.

Protect what matters. Forty-seven roles move through a family case — parents, judges, therapists, guardians ad litem, school counselors, mediators. This is a map of the 2,209 boundaries between them: what may pass, what may not, who holds the line, and the sentence that holds it without escalating.

When there is an immediate danger indicator, confidentiality, process, and role limits yield to the safety step — and the yielding is documented.

Step 1 · two minutes

Pick your role. Forty-seven relationships collapse into a handful of patterns — your map shows which ones govern you.

Step 2 · ten minutes

Read your five hardest lines. Highest-stakes dyads first, each ending in a sentence you can say out loud.

Step 3 · whenever it's quiet

Drill until it's automatic. The goal is that the sentence arrives before the stress does.
